United Environmental, Inc. Participates in Rutter’s Annual Golf Outing which Raises Record Amount for Charity

Justin Shappell was happy to be a part of Rutter’s Annual Children’s Charity Golf Outing. Rutter’s has raised a record-setting $110,000 for local charities at the 10th annual Rutter’s Children’s Charity Golf Outing played May 7th and 8th at the Out Door Country Club in York, PA.

The two primary beneficiaries of this year’s donations will be the Easter Seals of Central Pennsylvania and the Salvation Army. The Easter Seals will use Rutter’s donation to purchase a specialty equipment van to transport children with physical disabilities and developmental delays. The Salvation Army will remodel the York-area Children’s Learning Center, which is a part of the after- school program. The center’s upgrades will include new computers, software, books, teaching aids, desks and chairs.

“I appreciate Rutter’s continued commitment to this fundraising event over the years; not only do we get to help out great local charities, but we get to spend time with some great friends and colleagues” says Justin Shappell, President of United Environmental Services, Inc. who has been a part of this annual event since 2003.
